Political science and sociology have a common entrance examination in the University of Lapland. Degree lables are bachelor of Social sciences and masters of Social sciences. 

Studies in the study program are partly together and complete each other. For example, basic studies are all the same for everyone in the study program. In the bachelor degree you have two study paths: political science and sociology. The choice for the studies are made in the spring during your second year.

In the masters degree study path options are sociology, political science, international relations or arctic world politics.  

You can take minor subjects and international studies.
